The Woktail Bar & Restaurant
The Woktail Bar & Restaurant was opened in May 2011 and is located in the heart of Santa Eulalia on the famous restaurant street.
You can find there a familiar face of “Es Vive” Jamie and his newly wedded wife Diana. They always do whatever it takes to make sure that you are in for a wonderful experience. Jamie’s cocktails are well known across the island and his perfectionist’s touch will provide you with the best you can get at the small price!
The service is fast, efficient and more over always with a smile. These guys really go out of their way to make sure that their customers feel very special.
The restaurant is famous for fresh Asian Fusion dishes. Each dish is loaded with the best quality vegetables providing a healthy and balanced meal, which is not always easy to find while on holiday. The couple love to chat to their customers and give advise on the island’s life style, as they know it inside out. Jamie has been coming to the island since 1995 …
Regarding the menu there are few dishes which are a must. We would start with lovely steamed Gyoza dumplings or Tom Kha Gai (famous spicy chicken and coconut milk soup) although the Wakame seaweed salad with sesame dressing is also delicious. This could be followed by rice noodles with spicy beef and veggies in a yummy sauce or any of the super tasty Thai curries. Not forgetting chicken and tiger prawn fried rice with veggies, pineapple and teriyaki sauce or chicken and chorizo noodles.
Woktail has also a choice of home made deserts; for chocolate lovers brownie or for those who are looking for an Asian flavour also in the final course coconut rice pudding with mango sauce.
All this washed down with one of Jamie’s wonderful cocktails (Lichee Mojito, Cucumber Passion or Espresso Martini are highly recommended) and you are in for a treat.
It has to be said that this restaurant provides amazing value. Everything is very reasonably priced and there is also a special set menu available! Singha Thai beer and a nice wine selection are also there for you.
